The reconstruction of Ground Zero at the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan remains the most important prophetic location in the United States. On Friday, May 10, 2013, the last piece of steel was placed atop the Freedom Tower spire. It is time to review the Bible stories that speak to that progress.
On Friday, May 3, 2013, and then again on Sunday, May 5, 2013, the Israeli air force struck several targets in and around Damascus. The primary target was reported to be Iranian arms headed for Lebanon. This fulfills the expected May 4, 2013, watch date. About a week ago there was a collapse in the price of gold. Pundits have been attempting to explain what happened. The Exodus Plagues scriptures provides a backdrop for understanding what is happening. Egypt is running out of gold, having given it all away.
The Boston Marathon bombing ended with the death of one suspect, and the capture of a second. The timing was not day-accurate against any known Bible Time Line. It does time into a window from Psalm 65. Boston, though, is a very interesting prophetic venue. It will remain so through at least 2015.
We've just finished a week where a banking crisis threatened to envelop the people of Cyprus. This is the first time small depositors have been threatened with confiscation of their deposits. The tribal history of Cyprus gives insight as to why this is important.
Yesterday we saw the election of a new Pope. This leaves us with the odd situation where there is both a "retired" Pope and a serving Pope. Previous prophetic stories suggest how to view this situation.
I've spent several months on Facebook, looking at it as an alternative to Yahoo's groups. I do not believe Facebook provides an alternative to blogs. With some rare exceptions, like my friend Adrian, most Facebook conversation is about what I'd expect from people not yet out of High School. The Facebook movie plays this to a college level and that is very much a stretch. Kitten pictures and cartoons are fun, but they are not of the same... nature, shall I say. Of course this disappointment does not say how to fix the problem of finding an alternative to Yahoo Groups...
I recently finished reading a new book on 911. It looks to me that the author was called by Jesus to explain to the rest of us what happened on the ground that day. This book becomes the "Gold Standard" account of what happened on the ground in 911.
I woke with a dream about 1 week before Hurricane Sandy. In the dream I ran down a hill to a town by a beach. The beach was dry, the tide an unnatural distance from shore. As anyone should know, a huge tide would be coming in soon.
